Located in Manhattan's Fulton Center transit hub, the Shake Shack restaurant occupies a 4,000 square foot space within the building's second floor roundabout. The design responds to the architecture's angular geometry through a minimal layout that integrates custom furniture and unique 'split rail' lighting fixtures.

Sustainable hardwood detailing throughout creates warmth within the transit environment. Custom fabrication allowed the furniture design to address the spatial challenges of the curved, angular location while maintaining operational efficiency. The lighting design provides both functional illumination and sculptural presence, establishing visual rhythm within the open dining area. This approach transforms a challenging transit hub location into an inviting dining environment that balances Shake Shack's brand identity with the architectural character of the Fulton Center.
